Pablo Heras-Casado nominated for Dora Mavor Moore Award for “Outstanding Musical Direction”

Pablo Heras-Casado has been nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Awards by The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) for the “Outstanding Musical Direction” of “Nixon in China.”
The awards honor excellence in the performing arts in Toronto. Heras-Casado made his North American operatic conducting debut with the Canadian Opera Company in February 2011 with John Adams’ Nixon in China. The winners will be announced on 27 June in Toronto at the 32nd Dora Mavor Moore Awards.
