After his successful debut in January 2012, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra for two concerts in Munich on 28 and 29 June. Besides Berg’s Violin concerto “To the memory of an angel” played by Christian Tetzlaff, he will also conduct Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 2 “Hymn of Praise” (“Lobgesang”). The Symphony will be recorded live to be released by Harmonia Mundi. The concert on 29 June will also be broadcast live on BR Klassik and will be available online for 7 days after the broadcast on the BR website.
